![]() "// Articles // 26th Mar 2022 - 1 year ago // By Andrew Duncan Deus Ex Diaries Part Fifty-One (Human Revolution) The self destruction ending sees Adam Jensen destroying the whole facility and all people inside it, including itself, leaving humanity wondering what caused the incident Save Cancel The Sarif ending will change the signal to blame the crisis at hand on the Humanity Front, allowing future augmentation research to progress without much opposition The Taggart ending will make the whole incident look like a result of Neuropozyne poisoning, marking the birth of stricter augmentation regulations, which will further the Illuminati's agenda The Darrow ending will reveal the truth about the signal, making people generally suspicious of augmentation technology in the future Given you have talked with both Taggart and Sarif, you can choose between four different ending for Human Revolution, which are listed below: While in the first phase of the fight you'll have just to dodge the two mounted turrets, during the second phase the computer will electrify a section of the room at a time and send a security bot or two and some crazy workers at you. This approach of course requires you to have unlocked the EMP Shielding aug. The steps I followed may as well be the simpliest way possible to deal with it: use the code Darrow provided to cut the power to the main core and then hide behind a cover till you are allowed to shoot down Zhao. In true Deus Ex fashion, defeating the Hyron Project will be harder or easier depending on your augmentations choices and your actions prior. They aren't that hard to find either, even without being marked on your HUD. ![]() Meeting either Taggart or Sarif or both is entirely optional, but will unlock additional options in choosing the ending for the game. This shift in gameplay favors combat-oriented characters: while the workers are pathetically easy to kill with the arsenal you have been collecting and perfecting up to this point, sneaking past them require a lot of attention and tranquilizing weaponry. Panchaea greatly differs from the previous level thanks to the whole enemy opposition being a large number of crazed workers without any weapon to speak of, but deadly if they'll attack en masse. ![]() While defeating Darrow isn't mandatory to advance, it'll allow you to collect the deactivation code for Panchaea's secret computer, making the last boss fight much easier. Therefore, the effectiveness of your chosen answers will vary between walkthrough and you can award you an easy victory by using the CASIE aug. The confrontation with Hugh Darrow plays out exactly as the many "dialogue boss battles" you have been experiencing in the game up to this point. ![]() ![]() Self destruction ending cinematic(33:32) Notice that I had to cut down the video severely to give it a reasonable lenght: I mainly saved the most important NPCs interactions and the boss battle. I played the game with the Director's Cut version (which, truth be told, doesn't alter this part of the game that much). This video features what is basically the final sequence of Deus Ex: Human Revolution: the whole Panchaea area (along with the confrontation with Hugh Darrow and the meeting with both Taggart and Sarif), the final boss battle against the Hyron Project and my ending cinematic of choice (the fourth finale, the self destruction or suicide ending). ![]()
